Basketball Yukon is seeking individuals interested in making a two year commitment to coaching U-16 men’s and women’s teams that will be competing at the 2013 Canada Summer Games, next August in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The following coaching positions are available for the men’s and women’s teams which include:

• Head Coach , Certified NCCP 'Introduction to Competition - Advanced** OR Full Level 3 NCCP Certification AND a minimum 5 seasons of experience as a head coach or equivalent experience.

• Assistant Coach, Certified NCCP 'Introduction to Competition - Advanced** OR Full Level 2 NCCP Certification AND a minimum 3 seasons of experience as a head or assistant coach or equivalent experience.

• Team Manager, A minimum of 3 seasons of experience as a head or assistant coach or equivalent experience. (No certification requirements)

All coaches must complete the Respect in Sport online program through the Yukon Sport and Recreation Branch and undergo a Police Records Check.
